As I explored the menu, my taste buds were in for a treat. The Yuzu Mayo, priced at just £1.00, stands out as a delightful accompaniment to any dish. It’s the perfect balance of zingy and creamy, amplifying the flavors of your chosen dishes. Though some comments mention the seating arrangements being somewhat uncomfortable, it’s a small price to pay for such an engaging culinary experience.
Overall, Yakinori Bristol successfully marries authentic Japanese elements with a contemporary Bristolian twist. It is a place that not only fills your belly but warms your heart. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in a casual lunch, Yakinori is certainly worth a visit.

Been here many many times, food is great and service is good. It’s open kitchen so can see food being made, always fresh and staff happy to accommodate they’re halal and offer NHS discount staff happily offered to change the miso soup for halal version which was very nice of them. For all my water people- they’re water is amazing staff always around when you need them and happy to accommodate walk ins in my experience- have heard sometimes they don’t but I’ve personally never had issues! Guys you HAVE to try the chicken bao buns they also have a takeout menu for less! Pics are all from different visits :)Dietary restrictions: HalalParking: Paid street parking on park street and nearby - can be hard to find during peak times. There are other parking nearby have a look online!

Very good experience, the price, the food the portion size, the service, all for an excellent price! If the food was mediocre and the price was terrible for it it wouldn't deserve this review. But it is amazing, I really recommend going there if you want to stuff your belly with some Japanese food adapted to western taste. The only not so good I'd say about it, is that the seats were very uncomfortable, for that we ate very fast, but the experience was overall very good

I really love this place, it's my Japanese place in Bristol! When I visit I've always stop here for lunch bringing family and/or friends! I recently went here to spend my B-day with friends and food was fresh and tasty as usual, really nice & friendly service, prices affordable and I even got a free slice of cake with a B-day song! I do recommend it. ^^

First time visiting on a busy Saturday lunch time. We were looked after by Mo who was very friendly and smiled despite my daughters numerous requests (can I have kids chopsticks? Hmm I don’t like these can I have adults )Food itself was great - big portions, hot and tasty, nothing to fault there. We tried bubble tea - not our thing. Had been nervous taking my daughter but katsu was a hit and she ended up stealing some of ours too. Would happily return.Kid-friendliness: Our daughter loved the kids Katsu! And it’s kids eat free in the holidays
